Mad Silver

The Mad Silver series signifies a journey through eustress (positive anxiety) and distress (negative anxiety) moments in life. These two types of stress are shown through the overuse of the silver leaf and its movement through each painting, which reflect the experience the feeling of going "mad." However, madness was not the driver or the prerequisite for creation, but it was inspiration for the painting, which adds excitement to the composition. Throughout this creative journey, I’ve learned every moment is your moment. Some moments are messy, stressful, painful, beautiful or just plain weird, but they’re all yours, and if you look past the what ifs, life’s or everyone else’s expectations…the reward is your life.
